AMMONIA REFRIGERATION INSTALLATION - ČAČAK DAIRY 

Refrigerating ammonia installation installed in Čacak is cooling cca 60.000 lit. of milk and liquid yogurt per day. There are two screw compressors YORK type SAB 128 HF mounted in, each with cooling capacity of 300 kw at –10/+35 ° C , as well as two evaporative condensers BALTIMORE type VXC 125 and VXC 135. Evaporators in rooms with alimentary products are in pump circulation ammonia system. Also, there are 9 evaporators type “FISH BONE” in two 2x30m 3 ice banks. All 9 of evaporators are able to accumulate cca 18,38m 3 of ice, that enables cca 1550 kwh of capacity for peak loads when capacities of refrigeration compressors alone are not sufficient.
